Glidden trade brightens up the paint market with new colour range

Glidden Trade, one of the UK's leading paint brands for professional decorators, has launched its new Trade Exclusive Colour Range. The paint specialist has introduced 70 new colours, extending its range to 150 shades to provide more choice and variety than ever before.

The extended range of colours can be seen on a new colour card. Incorporating easy to read information on the new products and colours,it is an easy reference for trade professionals who require facts at their fingertips.

Glidden Trade already has an established core range of paint. Now our new Trade Exclusive Colour Range, which has had very positive feedback, offers even more choice for decorators and specifiers to pass on to clients.

The colour card will be an invaluable tool to give users more confidence when presenting the expanded colour range and their ideas to clients. Its simplicity means product details are easy to find and understand, while information about the entire Glidden Trade product and colour range is in one place to save trade professionals having to carry large amounts of literature around with them.

As an added feature, the new colour card incorporates details of the Light Reflective Value (LRV) of Glidden Trade Exclusive colours - vital advice for specifiers creating colour schemes in buildings such as hospitals and nursing homes which have to take into consideration the needs of individuals with visual impairments. The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) recommends that adjacent critical surfaces have a LRV difference greater than 30 in order to maximise visual contrast, so selecting suitable colour schemes is quick and straightforward using the facts on the card.

Case studies using the new, expanded, colour range from Glidden Trade are featured on the colour card, to help important final decisions on colour choices. Alongside the extended Trade Exclusive Colour Range, each card also features BS (British Standard), NCS (Natural Colour System) and RAL colour ranges.
