System information
To get the best results make sure the surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. (New surfaces particularly must be fully dry.)
Apply a thick coating by brushing with a dabbing action; work the paint remover into any blisters that appear rapidly. Re-apply after 5 minutes, working into any further blisters that have appeared. Leave for 5-15 minutes, but do not allow any drying out.
Test scrape at intervals.
Remove the softened coating with a stripping knife or shave hook. Use a stiff brush or coarse wire wool to scrub out intricate or difficult areas (e.g. corners).
If any paint remains, repeat the process.
After use, clean brushes and equipment with cold soapy water, detergent or white spirit, avoiding contact with plastic baths or sinks.
Top Trade Tip
Some 2 pack epoxy or 2 pack polyurethane coatings may be difficult to remove and may require a second application and/or prolonged contact with Metal Paint Remover. Try a test patch area first.
