Key benefits

  • Specially formulated to give the correct level of absorbency for receiving and patterning the range of Duette Topcoats.

System information

After suitable preparation, apply 1 or 2 coats of Duette Firstcoat to the prepared surface. When the Duette Firstcoat is fully dry (2-4 hours), apply 1 coat of either Duette Topcoat or Duette Textured Topcoat. This must be applied to small areas at a time, using a conventional medium pile roller for the main areas. Use a small clean brush for cutting-in around edges etc. Stipple in the tops and edges with a small clean, dry brush. After application, the Duette Topcoat is patterned with one of the special Duette Rollers to give a soft broken colour effect.

To enhance the finish and provide further durability to the Duette system, apply 1 coat of Dulux Trade Clearcoat Matt or Satin.

After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with clean water.
