Diamond Glaze used in luxury refurbishment

Diamond Glaze, Dulux Trade's premium interior woodcare product, is being used across 17 luxury homes as part of a prestigious development in Devizes. The hardwearing lacquer has been used on wooden flooring throughout The Mews development, to ensure the long-lasting durability of one of the project's major selling points.

The development, by contractors Carty Building, involves the conversion of the old Roundway Hospital into luxury three and four bedroom homes. Diamond Glaze has been used to finish the properties' pitch pine flooring.

Andy Hedges of Carty Building specified the product, he said, "I've always used Dulux Trade products as I'm continually impressed with the high quality - Diamond Glaze is no exception. We've chosen some beautiful honey coloured timber for the floors and knew that Diamond Glaze would not only enhance the finish but protect the floors, even from the heaviest of traffic, for years to come. The quick drying properties are also really useful for projects such as ours, when time is of the essence."

Diamond Glaze is a maximum durability, medium build water-based lacquer proven to be '10 times tougher' than conventional varnishes. It is suitable for all high wear interior wood surfaces, especially floors, and is easy to apply with either a brush or roller, with a re-coat possible in 2-4 hours. It is available in a clear gloss or a wide range of natural wood or designer colours.
