The membership fee for Dulux Select Decorators including TrustMark membership starts at just £310.78 inc. VAT per annum, depending on the size of your business.
Our current membership fees are as follows:
- Sole Traders, Partnerships and two man firms £310.78* inc. VAT
- Three man firms £343.10* inc. VAT
- Four man firms £375.40* inc. VAT
- Five man firms £419.40* inc. VAT
- Six man firms £446.90* inc. VAT
- Seven man firms £501.90* inc. VAT
- Eight man firms £556.90* inc .VAT
- Nine man firms £614.90* inc. VAT
- Ten man firms £666.90* inc. VAT
In order to be a member of the Dulux Select Decorator Scheme you must have in place throughout your membership, public liability insurance for you and your employees to the value of £1 million.
The reason for this requirement is that we promote the fact that all of our members are fully covered by public liability insurance and sell this as a benefit of using a Dulux-approved decorator. Therefore we must be sure that ALL of our members are insured at ALL times and for the correct number of employees or sub-contractors.
Fees can be paid annually or in monthly instalments. On receipt of your application you will be contacted by the Select office with a full quotation.
To apply for membership of Dulux Select Decorators:
- You must have worked for a painter and decorator for at least five years
- At least 50% of your work must be in domestic properties
- You must be in a position to provide four references on request - three from homeowners that you have recently completed work for and one merchant reference
- Ideally you should be in a position to allow us to visit you on site for a full assessment within two weeks of applying
- You must provide two passport photos of yourself
- You must send the original copy of your Public Liability Insurance policy to the Select Office, which will be returned to you within 24hrs.
- In addition you will need to sign a form giving authority to the Select Office to make spot checks with your insurance provider throughout the year ahead.
