PLGN 4.01 Acrylic Eggshell v Solvent Eggshell

Since COSHH regulations came out in the late 1980s, it has been good practise on Health & Safety grounds, to recommend the use of Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell and not a Solvent Based Eggshell for Broad Wall Areas. The product is highly durable (using a Latex Binder) which makes it extremely resistant to regular cleaning procedures without damaging the coating. Life expectancy in High Traffic areas equals Dulux Solvent Based Eggshell.

In addition to the COSHH regulations, in 2007 tougher restrictions are being put on all VOC emissions from paints and, it is our belief that in 2010 it will be virtually impossible to use a Solvent Based Eggshell on broad wall areas.

Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell is adhesion promoted to allow good 'key' to previous Solvent Based surfaces.
