Why would I buy Dulux Trade products when limewashes, clay paints and distempers are mainly solvent-free and sometimes even cheaper?

These are reversible coatings. In tests we carried out, they do not achieve required standards for trade paint in that they re-dissolve in water, take many coats to cover and rub off easily. Redecorating involves considerable mess and requires a complete removal of the original layers down to the bare plaster.
