Ecosure. Proven to be a more environmentally friendly paint.

Ecosure from Dulux Trade represents an approach to meeting sustainability that's grounded in scientific rigour and was developed in conjunction with leading independent sustainability experts Forum for the Future . An analytical tool called the Environmental Impact Analyser - devised by Forum for the Future - was used to measure the environmental impact of the range.

The Environmental Impact Analyser explained

The Environmental Impact Analyser measures the environmental impact of a product from extraction of its raw materials through its manufacture and right up to the point it leaves the factory, allowing us to accurately and realistically compare the sustainability of different paints. Using the tool, Ecosure Matt, Gloss and Undercoat were compared to standard Dulux Trade formulations, with measurements being taken against the two key sustainability criteria of embodied carbon and VOCs.

As the chart shows, significant reductions in embodied carbon and VOCs have been achieved.
