Progress Housing Group has ensured its housing stock will be protected for longer by specifying products from the Dulux Trade Weathershield range, as part of a large scale maintenance programme.
Dulux Trade has won a five-year partnering agreement with Progress Housing for the maintenance of more than 5,000 properties across the two arms of the group based in Leyland. New Progress Housing Association provides general needs housing in Lancashire and Cumbria, whilst Progress Care Housing Association supplies housing for people with learning disabilities around the UK. Jubilee Court, a three storey block providing sheltered accommodation for elderly residents, is one of the first properties to benefit from the partnership.
Dulux Trade Weathershield All Seasons Masonry Paint, Dulux Trade Weathershield Opaque AP (Advanced Protection) and the Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Gloss System were all used to protect the exterior masonry and woodwork of the housing block.

Dulux Trade Weathershield Opaque AP combines a natural aesthetic look with a six year guaranteed high performance finish that prevents peeling and flaking. Tested in the rainforests of South America, the advanced formula ensures it can withstand the harshest of conditions. The Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Gloss System, consisting of a primer, undercoat and high gloss, was also used to ensure professional results and long lasting protection of the housing block for up to eight years.
