Lessons in partnership

Dulux Trade Weathershield has been chosen for the exterior of Greenford High School in Ealing, as part of the Schools for the Future Project to improve the standards and quality of school buildings in the UK.

The partnership between the London Borough of Ealing, painting contractors AC Beck, main contractors Costain, Greenford High School and Dulux Trade ensured the school’s brief was met successfully and ahead of schedule.

“We have had excellent working relationship with Dulux Trade and AC Beck,” said Martin Longhurst, project director, Costain. “We believe this has been the core to our success.”

Dulux Trade Weathershield All Seasons Masonry paint and Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Gloss were used to protect the exterior masonry and woodwork of all the buildings on the school premises. Department blocks for Science, English and Languages have all been colour coded to help identify their use for students navigating around the new school.
